ITAM Forum & FinOps Foundation: Partnership Announcement
An exciting new strategic partnership between the ITAM Forum and the FinOps Foundation, was announced this week.
This collaboration supports the accelerating convergence of FinOps and ITAM/SAM and is a natural collaboration between two complementary disciplines.
Our LISA customers can look forward to benefits from the partnership, as the two organizations propose to jointly deliver:
- A new training course: “FinOps for SaaS”, designed to equip practitioners with integrated SaaS and software cost, renewal, and compliance knowledge. This will be coming to the LISA learning hub later this year.
- FinOps & ITAM Working Group: Contribute to best-practice frameworks, foster collaboration, and shape the future of ITAM and FinOps alignment. Be part of a global movement to create practical solutions and elevate both disciplines. The next virtual meeting is on the 18th June and you’ll need to be an ITAM Forum member to participate. It’s free to join the ITAM Forum and to register with the working group.
- In-person training: We’re hosting a 1-day, in-person, live training workshop on the 6 November as part of our Wisdom Unplugged UK event. LISA Customers have free entry to the training and the event as part of the LISA subscription. This training – The ITAM & FinOps Playbook – will provide a practical playbook for aligning people, data, and decisions across ITAM and FinOps teams.
