He has a deep understanding of discovery and inventory techniques and also trains SAM professionals on IT Operations concepts such as virtualisation, containerisation, cloud, and SaaS.
Martin is owner and founder of The ITAM Review, an online resource and community for worldwide ITAM professionals. On a voluntary basis Martin is the Chief Agitator at the Campaign for Clear Licensing, a contributor to ISO WG21 which develops the SAM International Standard ISO/IEC 19770 and board member of Free ICT Europe which supports the ICT secondary market.
Richard is one of the managing partners at B-lay and brings more than thirteen years of relevant license management experience to his role, having previously served as regional director of compliance at Oracle. Richard uses his knowledge of enterprise software vendors to educate, equip and enable software end users in their challenges regarding proper software license management. Richard holds a master’s degree in IT, from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Eric Chiu is the Managing Director of FisherITS and shares his expertise in software licensing with his clients through various consulting and services engagements. As a veteran of software license compliance, Eric has experience in the design and management of Software License Compliance Programmes for IBM. In recent years his focus has been on advising enterprises over strategic and tactical matters in establishing and operating Software Asset Management (SAM) and has provided services to a wide-range of clients from SMEs to substantial enterprise clients.
Hans has been involved in many global Software Asset Management advisory and license compliance engagements, related to software compliance, optimisation and vendor negotiation. He is a Senior Manager at FisherITS responsible for the overall delivery of Compliance Optimisation and SAM Maturity Transformation programs. Hans started his career as a license compliance auditor at a “Big Four” firm and has acted on behalf of a number of large software vendors by leading over a hundred enterprise-level license audits. At FisherITS, his focus has been on providing the “poacher-turned-game-keeper” expertise to large enterprise customers to help them address tactical and strategic challenges in SAM and software licensing.
Barry Pilling is the co-founder and managing partner of Cortex Consulting, an independent software licensing and asset management consultancy. He has been working in the ITAM industry for a decade and specialises in licensing software on datacentre and cloud technology platforms. His deep knowledge of vendors like VMware, Microsoft and IBM has helped numerous clients over the years to optimise and realise savings.
